You know something ChemEnhanced I'm sure you and your friends could theoretically do a better job; however I think you are taking this thread a little too far. After all Gilen, Shultz and Lawrence are world leading and renounced djs / producers that are reviewed by several major magazines and for whom people vote on the dj list. Not only do they get reviewed by professionals from djmag, mixmag; they also have a strong following. If you think you could do better then them go for it, release some of your own productions, remixes, compilation mixes, get an international gig and play outside of Toronto or try to get a residency at local club. Play a few massive festivals like Sensation White or Black for instance. Hey you and your friends could try to play @ WEMF why don't you submit a demo for the local new talent stage. I've noticed that its a fashion nowadays to criticize people left right and centre, so if you think you and your friends could do better then most djs that played at KH last night, then why isn't that I don't see your name in the media, neither can I go out to HMV and find ChemEnhanced mixed compilation. |
I think you don't quite get me....and that is cool...I think all of those DJs are amazing...it was just last night some of them were off their game.....and that happens......I have nothing against their skills but when the music doesn't make me move....then its not good....regardless of who is spinning. If my friends played the same tracks that Markus and Second Sun played I would have thought they sucked to.
