yo man, that is most likely cause many ppl stay on the tracks there, bombay has the worlds biggest slum. and many of them live in poverty.

A little ignorant there may I add, given that you are of Indian descent.

There is no connection between living in the slums and sleeping on the tracks. Most of the deaths arise due to personal ignorance. Often times when trains arrive, people rush forward to get on to them and this usually results in cramping and in the process injury. Deaths usually occur because people jump on and off moving trains. Its personal carelessness and not over crowding that leads to these incidents.
