And CDJs are somehow less prone to fuckups? I've seen CDJ's fuck up alot more than Sasha's mac.

From the above you obviously have no idea how to DJ with Live.

I am actually well versed with Ableton Live, Clovis. And based on my experience using a MAC with live, I much prefer using a CDJ and a Mixer. No need to get your panties in a bunch, im just expressing to you my OPINION.

Sorry for the misconception, I had the original ES1mkII - Electribe SmkII Rhythm Production Sampler but I sold it to my friend and picked up the new ESX-1 - Electribe SX Music Production Sampler. This sampler uses two analog tube circuits that makes for a very "warm" sound. That is what I meant.

Ableton is a great tool for studio mixing imo. As for live djing, I dont think Id ever use it by itself. Maybe in tandem with cdjs and/or vinyl if I ever get that far. I just like the feel of actually putting a record on the platter, pressing start, putting the needle down and mixing from there. I would, however, like to get ableton to make some sick mixes with.
