subtractor == a synth in reason

reasons sound engine is not it's synths in particular. It's the core engine that handles all the sounds that is input into it basicly. The synths is just a way to create those sounds.

reason is hands down the best all in one package. I do find it';s synths a bit weak ( just a bit ). z3ta, pro 53 are much better. Nothing beats redrum tho, and the whole virtual rack concept is a lot of fun and very educational.

i dont think anyone should limit themselves to one program or synth, the more u use and experiment, the more u will learn. To me that is the end goal, consuming as much knowledge as possible.

i must say tho, making a fat tune in reason is very rewarding coz it feels like u have to work for it that little bit more.

yea the redrum is awesome and the m class mastering suite is superb. thats all i use i for though. havent ventured into the subtractor and malstrom. prefer cubase for my synths.
