My initial opinion hasn't changed, I'm afraid.
I did discover some nice tracks, but my overall impression was that Sean is sticking too much to a formula that can only be described as cheesy. He produces what I call "playdoh trance", industrially generated music with no substance.

Mixing is good though, if that is a consolation

Thanks again for all the feedback!! I don't see the point in dong a cue sheet tho as the mix won't fit on CD!!

i listened through your mix a couple times today. the mixing was top notch, there were a few moments i noticed some minor drifting but much better than anything i could do

tracks i enjoyed in particular and will probably try and find/purchase:

01. Maggie Reilly - To France 2005 (Beam & Sean Tyas Remix)
14. Beam - On Your Mind (Sean Tyas Hard Dub Remix)
15. Beam - Odin (Michael Urgacz Vs Sean Tyas Remix)

...though i already own beam on your mind. vinyl i've got has 4 mixes and the ST mix is the only one i like

edit: shit did i just select every beam track on there?

Listened to a few times now and I don't have a whole lot of indepth comments this time but I will add a few thoughts.

Seems you've been a long time fan of Sean Tyas and now that his popularity has caught wind you've decided to share the breadth and glory of his back catalouge. Well done mate. Not sure if his recent popularity is what sparked this but all the same was a great idea.

Is truly an epic mix with all the rigth elements. Not too flat in energy and diversity as one might expect from a set of one producer's tracks. Beautiful intro. Light and pleasing begining section and epic middle and finishing sections. Not as much diversity as I like in mixes in general but I get the concept and understand why it is this way and appreciate it.

Mixing is very good. Only small missteps but nothing worth mentioning. Overall structure, progression and mixing is top-notch.

Nothing much more to add. Thanks for this perfectly, wonderfully, epic trance mix showcasing such a talented producer.

Cheers.

I've listened to this mix in full probably around six or seven times, usually when I'm about to have a game of warcraft 3 or whatever in my mates I just chuck this on in the background.

I've also split it up so I can listen to it in the car, yay

Is there actually enough content to make a part 2?

Yeah CD friendly version ftw :P

If you make another big one maybe split them up into two different parts?
