I met him he's a nice guy, but he wrote overly opinionated reviews of party nights.. he likes soulful house more than trance, and told me that trance was old news for him. to everyone their thing. no problem.
When someone posts a club review they take serious risks of harrassment (by either fans, djs, promoters, or agents), and bling took those risks and got the concequences. I honestly believe the harrassment and feedback he received was excessively harsh for the reviews he wrote, since his reviews were more constructive than others I've stumbled upon on TranceAddict.
Reviews are nice to read for those who missed parties, but they usually end up doing more harm than good. Posting pics, videos, and dj sets are better means of sharing a party one hasn't gone to with a lower risk of being trolled or harrassed. Hell if club reviewers send me all 3 of those forms of media, I can definately feel like I've been there without having to read someone's negative thoughts and me thinking that they're a dipshit when they might be the nicest person in person.
It's better to keep a shitty clubnight to yourself. Writing a negative review will not change what happened in the party. It makes you look bad, gets you unnesesary enemies, and makes the clubbing experience less enjoyable, even if your reviews are only for humourous purposes or very constructive.
There is lack of emotion and body language when one types on the internet, that's why trolling and misunderstandings come about so frequently. Even emoticons don't help the tone of the text.
For me I consider this emoticon to be hilarious.
but most people take it as if someone is being completely angry and offensive. Smilies can be taken as sarcastic or genuine depending on the person reading it.
