it all depends on when you go. i am planning on going in june. one of the most expensive times. 1100 is the average but yes i found tickets for 984 so it is possible to get then for under 1k

you went in the off season. june-august = peak season. i see for beginning of may tickets are 688 right now. they will go down later as it get closer and then back up again. www.itasoftware.com check it out.
