what do you think drives your track away from where you wanted it to go? Is it your sound selection? Is structure really the only problem? Sometimes just one sound that you think sounds good by itself can put your track into a totally different direction. One psy, dark, or techy sound might just put your track into a different genre solely because that sound that you feel sounds great by itself gives the track a whole new vibe than what you intended.
