Cutting out bass, treble, vocals etc. They don't work that well but they do help when a track might have a lot of bass and it sounds clangy and you want to gradually bring it in...kind of like you can do with EQs. They are found like Trogador said, on lower-end mixers with poorer EQs. I have the Vestax PCV 275s, and they have things called "isolators" which are pretty much the same thing as kill switches, but maybe a little better made. yeah right first off most of the shit that comes in those things are cheap and break easy trust me when i started djing that happend to me and others who tried the same thing so its better to just save up and buy your own tables or what not cause that box shit aint happenin
