that's the only time i'd say it's acceptable. if ur best friend was with her/him and u spent a great deal of time with them and got to know them and there was always this amazing chemistry but u never did anything about it because he/she was with your best friend, then i dunno.


it just depends. but generally speaking, i'd say it's not right. but there's always exceptions. i was with my ex for 2 years and lived with him and everything. if i had a best girlfriend who fell for him and they wanted to date, i'd probably laugh and be like, "hahah good luck! he's all yours hun". so it all just depends on the relationship your best friend had with that person.

Sometimes people agree to things like this without actually knowing how it will affect them or thinking it through. While I agree, if he gives the thumbs up and regrets it that's his fault, however, the impact on the friendship can be just as negative regardless of fault.
