Black & Blue 2005

Montréal – October 21, 2005 – 15 years, and counting…
"The main event not only attracts partiers from as far away as Europe, but is also a key stop on the North American gay circuit scene, thus becoming the largest gay indoor party in the world, despite the fact that 40% of revellers are of the straight persuasion."
^^ from edmm.ca
So if you do the math, 40% of 14,000 represents 6,000 ppl, that's a decent sized massive. Those open minded straights have it figured out.. the party is awesome, and as Kendo says, "who cares if half are gay." So consider the djs, the Olympic stadium setup with no bathroom waits, water everywhere you go and room to dance and it's def something to consider.

Sheet, I should get a free ticket for all this

The event is for gay people, but open-minded EDMM lovers that are straight go too. I find each year Black and Blue and Bal en Blanc (which is really becoming more Hetero based off personal observation and comments from gay friends) are being more and more straight.
Back in 2003, before Aria participated in Bal En Blanc and the two room concept was born, I remember some of my gay friends saying they didn't want to go to Bal en Blanc because it had become too "straight". Go figure.
As more and more of the "straight" events such as Cream, Oasis, Connected, Swirl, Freaky, get cancelled, the amount of massives that "straight" people can attend becomes diminished and hence the popularity of the BBCM parties increases.
I think gay people are great, but something like the Outdoor Games, I didn't go to. Based off reviews and comments of those that went, it was 90% gay with a few women, albeit very hot ones.
I think Enjoy is just trying to be an antagonist, because anyone that is involved in the EDMM scene in Montreal knows that Black and Blue isn't just for "gays". I find Black and Blue today has a mix of hetero/gay people equivalent of say Bal en Blanc 2000.
