Borat is sold out. I tried getting them myself through the lottery. The only way to get them now is through the RUSH line.

Rush Tickets:

* Think the film you want to see is sold out? Maybe not – check the rush lines.
* When advance tickets are sold out, a line of non-ticket holders forms outside of the theatre. This is known as the Rush Line.
* If seats become available, the Festival’s Theatre Representative may allow people from the Rush Line to purchase tickets, or exchange an appropriate pass or coupon to gain admittance.

You will probably have to start waiting in line a couple of hours before the show starts to get a chance at a ticket. You can try, but I'll wait for the nation wide release date on November 3rd.

The festival is showing Borat twice; midnight Thursday or Saturday @ 1.15pm.

Ok guys, realistically speaking, do i stand a chance of getting "rush tickets" if i go down to watch the midnight show of BORAT? i'd be planning on being down there at around 10 pm.

No chance. Usually, they let in about ~20 people. I heard there are over 100 people waiting already.

Went and saw Slumming - not bad - but it wasn't one of my first choices...

The area outside afterwards was alive with activity though...in a span of 5 minutes I see Moses Znaimer walking towards the party at the Gardiner Museum...and then I go down the street and outside Lobby is one of the Canadian Idol judges (with a hot gal 15 years his junior) trying to work the bouncer to get past the line...lol

couple hours ago the borat movie ended and Az and I watched across the street (pure coincidence as i live right there now) as Borat shook hands with the press and peeps as a pony sat in awe behind him
