Well all those here complaining about others complaining about so called "noise pollution" had better check themselves. If you supported the outright smoking ban, then complaining about noise complainers makes you a hypocrite.

Remember how i said that the smoking laws would set precedents and that something you love might be the next target?

Just because you dont like smoking doesnt mean others shouldnt do it. Just because other people dont like city noise doesnt mean you shouldnt make it.

And as for the "health" debate that im sure is going to spark up. Many of these people point to so called "studies" that say that noise pollution is harmful to your health much the same way that people defend draconian smoking laws with studies.

The more i travel the more i realize how lost this place really is. I hate to be negative but stuff like this just reinforces my feelings. Too bad because Toronto could potentially be a wonderful place like it used to be.
