depends on your definition of good. hes excellent at shadow games. tweaking the rules, moving this, moving that, hiding that under the carpet etc.
to give an example, when Rail Track when bankrupt, Network Rail took charge of the rail network only on the understanding that the state secured the debt of what Rail Track incured. Brown agreed to this and the state secured the debt - yet that debt is not included on the money the state owes. why? because it'd break browns golden rule of not borrowing more than he can repay over a cycle.
Yes hes kept us ticking over, but don't believe it wasn't done by playing with the rules. |
I don't care how many rules he has to change to make sure we don't get another 'Black Wednesday'. After early 90 - mid 90's, I don't trust the Tories as far as I could throw them. Even if Cameron appears to be sensible. The economy under Brown has been fantastic, and long may it continue.
I was pro-Blair until post 9/11, and since then, I think he's all about spin as are all of the parties. I dislike UK politics alot at the momeent.
I'm pro-immigration if either A) people are GEUINELY fleeing persecution (I think this should be vetted by Amnesty or something) or B) if they are skilled labourers. I'd rather pay for an immigrant doctor than some graffiti-ing(sp?) chav twat in S****horpe.
And on a side-note, I think the Daily Mail should be banned. Permanently.

Social outcasts are often of the opinion that they must have a drink before being able to loosen up with their inhibitions, thus being able to have a good time.
There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.' |
