And these are? And what "electro house" tracks use them to be labeled as "containing electro influences"?

707s, 808s, 909s, 303s, Prophets, Junos all can be heard on various Lee Coombs B sides, which are the House mixes.

Listen to the Prydz remix of Switch - A Bit Patchy and then listen to some New Order.

Listen to Paolo Mojo - 1983 then listen to some Visage.

Both tracks have the same air about them.

Its impossible to take it away from them, the sounds are there if you listen. The only difference is now the synths dont slip in and out of pitch.

Its the same with current indie bands and there blatant Joy Division influence.

If you know what you are listening for then its simple to hear influences.

I like those songs, I dont mind hearing them in sets.

In a video interview, he said that he was moving to house. Tiesto said that trance and house were coming back to form, House. Its all a big blur when it comes to the top djs and what genre they spin. Its a bit of everything.

He spins clownshit stuff that is "trance" and "house" or "tech-trance" or whatever it is, omg it's a melody, it's a breakdown, wave your hands in the air! omg here's a big big chuggin', bangin' beat. He plays this baloney shit while he's doing the Jesus pose and drinks some Vodka with Gin!

So it isn't deep, spiritual and life-affirming, taking you away from reality and using seminal melodic fragments, like the trance you listen to?

I was being sarcastic.I've been into Tiesto for a long time and still like some of the stuff he plays. And who cares if I think of trance in those respects, it doesn't affect you how I think, it's merely my way of explaining the sounds of "certain" tracks (another way of me saying they are beautiful or uplifting). I mention that these tracks have that feel...the point of a lot of music is escapism...just like movies and books and such, and thats the whole idea behind the idea of a "trance".

So it's not rocket science to figure that out...I find it odd that some people on here have a hard time with this simple, albiet subjective form of expression...I never state it's music from the Gods or it's how I speak to God, haha I don't think of it in that respect, that would seem a bit too much I agree so leave me some slack for once, I've been on here for over a year and so far I haven't gone away (I keep coming back). When I describe "certain" tracks as having a spiritual feel, they themselves might not be "spiritual" but they have a feel that to me that is. I use music as a way to guide my life, as a means of expression, just like anyone else with any style of music does. I mean i've gone over this point before, it's not that hard to understand even if you don't feel the same, which is fine with me because music is subjective.

My beef isn't with your opinion, it's that you constantly feel the need to express it in rambled form and in a very pretentious way, as if you're constantly over-awed that music can produce emotional responses.
