That one has weird proportions too. The only Merc that gives me a boner is the CLS65 AMG. HOLY FUCK it's styled perfectly.

Mercedes Benz Headoffice. Training Centre if you wanna go into specifics. i was fortunate enough (thanks to family) to have a first look at the SLR in there.

the SLR Styling is unique, i think it looks very sharp, as well as bulky in the right places, with a very aggressive stance. combined with the mercedes 'ABC' Suspension system that increases aero effeciency as the car gets faster, sensotronic (drive by wire) braking systems, and that thundering 600hp engine pulling that sleek sexy machine, and the huge ceramic disc brakes, and not forgetting the air-brake stopping it as well...it is my dream car (before the McLaren Merceds Mp4-20 that is)

also, most people dont know this, but the styling on the hood of the SLR is designed to represent the nosecone of a Mclaren formula one car...the mercedes benz star (logo) is located right at the tip of the nose as it would be on the F1 Car. The diffuser on the SLR's Underbody is also modeled after F1 Cars, but a diffuser is standard on a supercar these days...i need to dig up official Merc Benz training manual's on the SLR i have lying around.

I'm still more of a sports sedan fan though...although a selling feature of the Miata is that you could fix anything on it if the need occured
