umm sorry, but technically they are. true, they are comprised often of white labels and un copyrighted songs, but they are still copyrighted material and therefore not legal for distribution. now whether you are likely to get in trouble for HAVING them, prolly not - but its not like you can sell them either. it the music industry NOTHING is ever completely paid for - if you can get more money out of it somehow then procuring it via the net doesnt make it ok/
