The iPod deal is no longer going on, that promo ended Sep 12.
Every single computer comes with the same OS/software. iLife is on there ready to go.
Everything on the mac is integrated to one another, its sweet.
The MacBook will get the job done for PhotoShop. I highly recomned a gig of ram.. Rumor has it that the new Intel Core 2 Duo processors are coming out momentarly, so since Im not at work - wait a little
i have a DP 1.8 G5 in my studio and a 15" powerbook for school and live performances.
Anyone have the new iMacs? they are very nice

Def going for the Macbook Pro now. Found out I can get a discount from work . I figure making the switch from PC to Mac won't be that tough because I have to use both at work anyway. I already have Ableton and plan on getting Protools, Reason, or Cubase or SOMETHING as I believe it is now time for me to produce or at least edit my own tracks

OK, looks like im going with a Black Mac Book Glossy 13. should I bump up the ram and keep the hds at 80gb or can I bump the HDs up to 120gb and buy ram at another place for the upgrade?
help!
Jon, also might need you to help me install windows as a dual boot option. Have the slightest clue how to...

can I go 2gb by purchasing aftermarket ram? or am I confined to only upgrading via apple when I purchase the mac book?
in essence, is there a panel on the bottom that will allow me to open it up and pop ram in and out of it like any regular laptop?
external HD i have, not worried about it =)

Stupid question, but...is it the same kind of ram as a PC? Got a MacBook Pro 15" should be here in a few days
