Hopefully your kid will feel the same towards you. |
This wasn't directed toward me, but I would like to say that if I have kids, I am going to be a great dad. Everything that my father didn't do, I am going to do it.
And stren, this does seem kind of "Nou". But, when I read Nou's thread about him moving to a smaller house, and how he isn't in a rich area anymore, that seems he is an ungreatful person. I, on the other hand, am not.
My mom doesn't believe in divorce, because she is a devout catholic (I don't know if the bible mentions divorce, but the church itself pushes the nuclear family like no other). She cares for my dad, and my dad just abuses his position as a paraplegic. He says he's unhappy and the only way he can be happy is if he can buy "Cool" (Stupid and pointless in any right mind) things. My mom, being the pious person she is, gives him all the money he wants. She's the worst enabler I have ever seen, because she is afraid of hurting his feelings.
And this is just a slice of what I see everyday. It's really fucked up, and I'll be happy when he's gone, because then, maybe my mom can marry a real man who respects her.
