It probably could. Check if the Radeon 9000 has pixel shader 1.1 or above. My friend's card didnt even have that so he couldn't play it.

The game itself is as good and addicting as Rome. A lot more to learn and do though. Now you have popes, crusades, and shit to learn. The differences between cities and castles is complex too.

btw.. WHY THE FUCK do some of my armies dissappear? i have them out in the field ready to attack. i then end my turn, and check where they are, and suddenly... they're gone. they didn't desert, as i would have gotten a note about that, and they weren't attacked or garrisoned. they simply just vanished.

denmark keeps attacking, and the french goons just teamed up with those green deuches of milan. things are not looking good for my english empire..

I think it may have something to do with the graphics setting in the game. There is allot going on at any giving time in the game, and I think if you don't have the graphics settings turned up all the way; soldiers, tanks, enemy structures disappear temporarily to save CPU and memory resources. It makes the game harder because you cannot see the computers units getting ready to attack until they are right next to your loan group of 3 engineers . With out cheat mod I can barely beat the computer on normal in a skirmish. So the game, although frustrating, has been holding my attention for the past month.

ah, sorry. i should have stated that my vanishing problems had to do with medieval, and not coh.

it just happened again. a big fat army, packed with expensive units gone..
