Why would you say that?
While I do believe there are thin threads that can lead to preordained outcomes, I also believe that you have the choice to choose the path on how you get there.
Karma, to me, is the fuel used along the way.
You can have a bumpy or smooth ride but the choice again, is ultimately yours.
Peronally, I always choose the smooth ride and it has always come back to me ten fold.
It can, sometimes, be a longer route but in the end, I feel better about my choice even when I really didn't feel like doing it!
I realize this may sound simple (and probably ethereal) but once you begin to consciously recognize the fruition of the seeds you've planted earlier (sometimes much earlier, as in years) there's such a great sense of peace and understanding that no drug could ever reproduce.
Ok, I'm going to crawl back up to the top of my guru mountain now...
