I think me getting older and the fact that I have been doing the club thing for so long contributes to my desire to stay away from the messes of the bigger clubs. I just don't have time for the bullshit of the long line ups and bitchy GL staff that greet you at most bigger venues. I too prefer a dark space without all the smoke and mirrors to dance in which is why I love the Footwork space. Solid crowd, room to dance and a well programmed set that doesn't rely on dropping the same big tracks that every other DJ is dropping isn't alot to ask for but harder to find than you'd think.

Footwork just may be my new favourite venue! Musically, this night was phenominal! Burridge has drastically moved up on my rankings! Will post review tomorrow.
