ok i converted them to WAV from MP3...and everyhting works VERY FAST now and it doesnt freeze...thats so weird that that did it...thanks everyone for all the help...i am happy now

I will reccomend a program that I use to do all cutting\editing. It works with *.wav files. Its called Cool Edit Pro. It has alot of nifty usefull things, A equivelent program is Goldwav. I prefer Cool Edit pro, If you need it contact me.

I'm thinking that it froze up on you, cause you can't really edit MP3's like that...those Properties options are for waves...and waves are uncompressed, unlike MP3's...thus, Nero froze when it tried to apply wave properties to an mp3...

I could be wrong tho...
