What a great show last night! This is the first time I was ever at Zinc and it was really hard to get around with all of the people their.. I got in at 11pm for #15 bucks.. Ferry came on @ 12 and played an amazing set for close to 3 hours.. I took alot of pictures and video but most of it came out dark or smokey.. I will try to upload some media on Monday after I get back from Fantasy Fest.. Either way, It was a great time and I defintley cannot wait until he comes back to Florida again..

The only bad thing about last night was the sound system. The bass cut out a few times. I'll post my review later. We are heading out to Miami now.

This was my first time at Zinc Bar and it was exactly how I pictured it...a hallway. The club was way too small to accommodate a big DJ like Ferry. It reminded me a lot like Bahasa Lounge on Kennedy but smaller. There was a dance floor which is about the size of the bathroom. I don't know how people could get jiggy with it out there. My friend and I had to hangout in the middle of the hallway which is about halfway between the dance floor and the entrance/exit. People were walking back and forth so dancing was a bit challenging. And it was soooo damn hot in there!!! Someone forgot to pay the bill?

As for the music, Ferry came on at around midnight and he played some energetic and melodic stuff, much to my delight. But then he started playing a lot of progressive electro stuff the last 45 min. This is just my opinion but I think Ferry should play nothing but high energy uplifting melodic trance like the Ferry of old. I realize his style has changed just like everyone else's like Armin and Tiesto, much to my dismay. I don't think I could ever adapt to it and learn to enjoy it. I wish I could because I really like Ferry as he was my favorite DJ for the longest time. Seems like now I'll have no choice but to go and see the local Miami DJs like Groove Eric, Relik, and John Paullino if I wish to experience a genuinely true TRANCE set. I can't wait to see Suzy Solar this Sat @ AMP!!! Now she plays exactly the style of TRANCE I like!!! HARD HIGH ENERGY TRANCE!!! Finally some good trance!!!
