+1 Strongly considering moving out west. Toronto is alright, especially if you like to party. But I think I'd rather wake up to the Rockies and clean air, then garbage trucks and sirens.

In the end, to each their own. Some like the city, some like the excitement of nature .

As much as it would probably kill me, I don't think I would want to own a car in the city. The public transportation is better than here and the cost of insurance has gotta be 10x more expensive than what I pay living in KW.

It would just suck if I wanted to leave the city for any reason.

Toronto's a pretty nice city. As far as 'big' cities go, the people are generally friendly, although I find that to be changing more and more with passing years.
As for bad roads...I don't really know what to say, go drive downtown Ottawa, Mtl, or any other larger city for that matter.

I love Toronto, but I hate the bloody sidewalks! when it rains there are so many damn puddles all over it sucks ass! other then that I love living downtown Toronto!
