CD2 is enough to get nOObs into trance.

I never bothered to check out the mixing/transitions. The flow was great, and that kept/keeps me happy.

Not really into it. Now Tiesto - Nyana (his production) is the only tune i have listened to time and time again since the days of lethal industry.

If you'd been listening before jumping on that bandwagon - you'd know CD 1's tracks were mostly played in fall/winter 2002.

When he was still following pattern of summer = isos style, winter = hard(er) style.

He was already number 1 when Nyana was released btw

A nice mix - CD 2 especially. But I had already heard almost all of the tracks on there before it came out. My only criticism, but the reason I didn't buy it.

And no I didn't download it - listened to a mates copy

If I were to recommend a Tiesto CD to someone I would rather recommend Revolution. That one is so much better than Nyana

I rather like CD 2. Nice, calm, easy-going. Fine to listen to while chilling at home. Plus, most of those tracks aren't played out for me since I hardly payed attention to those DJs that blew their loads on them at the time (was in full disco punk mode then).

CD 1 starts out interesting, but when it decends into Vocal Valley, it gets suspect. Then... the breakdowns begin. Over. And over. And over. Total pants. Yay to predictibility.

(yes, I know CD 2 has them galore too, but it's not an energetic mix, so the continuous dead-stop momentum isn't as big a problem)

A big fat +1 on that. I'm really not sure why he didn't pursue that sound - - because i would imagine there is quite a few others who believe it to be his better style.
