I guess I'm doing the version thing right, but very often I fail to find the right entry. So there's some need for improving my search techniques. Like when finding 'celesta - Alpha Breed rmx'. It took me very long to find the entry using 'rmx' in the search term. I guess AG hides entries like this from the search result unless 'rmx' is specified. |

You know, I really dislike when people put mixed tracks on Audiogalaxy without labelling it as Various Artists or:
ID3v2:
artist: (dj, who mixed the compilation) - (original artist)
title: (title) |
I see you some of you guys haven't got my point in 100%. This id3v2 thing was posted because Audiogalaxy takes its artist - title from id3v2. So when you're looking for a track using AG, what it shows you was taken from there, NOT the filename.
Vesa: Try 'remix' instead of 'rmx'. Should work.
One other thing: people often adds (Original mix) when they share full rips, this make it easier to find them (instead of for eg. Funk Einsatz - Punk, you write Funk Einsatz - Punk (Original mix) - this should be a full rip. The problem starts with remixed tracks - there is no possible 'Original mix', because it's not the one.
