It never did. It was the same thing for almost two minutes. When the beat finally kicked back in, the vocals never showed up, and you were left with a kick and a bassline. It was such a pointless build.

The vocals make the track. If you're going to remix it, they're required. If you don't want to use them, then do not remix the track.

The only remix of the tune worth mentioning at all is the Daniele Davioli remix. Fucking excellent tune.

+1

The remix sucks. The melody that repeats and repeats and you're dying to hear "I wanna run" but instead after hearing 2 mintues long a loop of the melody you get a standard kick and bassline, I mean wtf?!

Btw do you have a sample of that davioli remix? Would love to hear it.

Yeah, it's true, the only thing missing in Nu Nrgs Remix is a real mainpart after the break. It's a bit disappointing when you realise that there is no "GOOOOO moment"...

Still..the atmosphere, build up and sound is amazing..

Can't find it...
And I can imagine that it's hard to get an official "remix-yay" by U2 — especially when it's a trance remix.

Never released, and I would be very surprised if it ever does
