it definately was.
i miss that room as well, but holy fuck do things move a lot smoother now that the coat check is down there (with a capacity of the club), and not at the very back of the mainroom.

a chill out room would be sick.. with slower music
what would be realy realy sick, is if they put a tent over the outside patio and had heating and couches so that everyone can sit there... also the hall way that leads to the outside can have some couches there. And make the whole club a dance floor ... so the dj would be right in the middle of it all, and it would be a 2 level dance floor ....
that would be FUCKING SICK

This has recently changed. David is now playing a gig somewhere in Europe for NYE, and we now have the lineup (shown in the first post) for the countdown.
New Years Day will be a HUGE event as well - with everybody's favourite Iberican Duo - CHUS & CEBALLOS, alongside HECTOR ROMERO, and more to be confirmed.
There will be a special TWO DAY PASS available at various outlets. Details will be announced on cost, and where exactly you can buy this wristband. It will save you a bunch off of the door
Heehee, sorry. It's just I'm planning on flying in from NS, and just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing it And congrats, this lineup rocks, wicked way to ring in the new year.

2005 as well. As a matter of fact, on both NYE of '04 and '05, I spent 90% of my night in the lounge.
Oh, how I miss the lounge.

So the club is not open continuously for 2 days? Also, it says that C&C are on NYD... meaning they'll play sometime after 10pm on Jan 1st?

The club will be closed for about 8-10 hours (likely noon on NYD - until 10pm). The reason being, from our past experiences with the X-Tend parties, we didn't have enough people in the club during this 'down time', and it gives us an opportunity to clean up the club so part two is a 'fresh' (lol) experience.
