If someone is from there crew, I have this to say. If it wasn't for Tiesto's early sets, 2000-2004, I would have never grown to love him as my favorite dj. He introduced me to so many quality tracks, and because of all the sets he released, I got to be up to date on the best music. Without his sets, I am stuck hearing crap from PVD and other wanna be Tiesto djs.

I would be willing to pay for the sets, or anything to get these sets. I do not go clubbing that much anymore, so downloading these sets is about the only way I can hear him now.

SOmeone ask Tiest this, why is it, that when you were not #1, you released sets every couple of weeks on the net? Even when you were #1, 2002-2005, you were constantly releasing sets. You are wrong to think downloading them will affect your career. Look @ all the upcoming djs, Menno, Jonah, or even PVD, and you will notice they constantly let you hear their newest sets.

A long time fan,
Andrew

Tiesto doesn't "release" the sets he plays in clubs.

If they are broadcast on a radio station then someone will always have a rip - if they aren't, then a rip just won't exist (unless a fan has used some recording equipment inside the club, but in that case the set will nearly always be of poor quality.)

Tiesto himself has no control over which sets become mp3s and which are trafficked all over P2P software.

wrong. tiesto and his management can -- and do -- instruct clubs not to record the set and radio stations not to air it. happens all the time.

Credit for the Tracklisting goes to DjDannyBoyExtreme off the Tiesto Tracklists forum. I was at the event with him and he was dedicated enough to bring a notepad and Pen

We discuessed the tracklisting ont he way home on the coach.

If it wasn't for the dedication from Tiesto fans like Danny and others, people wouldn't know what Tiesto is currently doing with his style and sets. It was very interesting to see tiesto spin in such an unpredictable fashion, I closely watched his set right throughout and I must say I quite enjoyed it. Some people might say dropping certain tunes within a set at a particular point is not welcomed, but the fact is you have you be there at the event to see how the track being dropped actually goes down by monitoring the crowds reaction. Tiesto knows what he is doing, he is playing the way he does because he has initiative to develop new styles whilst being completely unpredictable.

What I Didn't like:
Tiesto playing for an extra half hour, I thought this was very dis-respectful to the other DJ's at the event. He gets away with it though due to the fact that the Atmosphere he was generating was completely electrifying, and also about 50% of the crowd were there to see tiesto and nobody else. As soon as tiesto finished his last track and left the booth half the club left. Hi legendary status kept him glued to those decks, and nobody would approach him to ask him to stop playing. Sure I an everyone was happy to hear an extra half hour, but a good DJ knows good manners and has recpect for other DJ's.

Mark Eteson wasn't in the booth until halfway through the extra bit som im presuming he was late.

Im glad half the twats left after Tiesto. Mark Eteson & Jon O'Bir destroyed the place, it was class!
