Review
"Nothing better to do in the O-town" led me to Club Heaven last night to see Chus and Ceballos tear it up again.
Etienne Osbourne once again laid a decent opening set for C&C who began their three hour set at 1AM. The uber-sketch crowd, one that would be the envy of even TO's Guverment, actually had a good share of decent looking girls there too. It filled up quickly around 130AM or so. If you've never been to Heaven, be prepared to inhale lots of smoke from the cheezy machine there.
C&C's set began with their trademark tribal but quickly and seamlessly shifted to pretty much all genres of house, including some tech house. I even heard a bit of jazz in there, so they showed some good diversity. Two tracks that stood out were Dibiza and the one with the chorus "..right down to the underground".. name escapes me, I've heard Deep Dish and Preach lay it down before. They did go back to tribal, which even had one of my trance head friend's dancing to the beat.
Vibe: 9/10
C&C: 9/10
Sound:

Once I took a piss in front of everybody at Stereo. Put the garbage under the mixer, and did it right there while people were dancing and screaming. people thought I was playing with the mixer but I was playing with my zizi. |
