MuchMusic's Electric Circus Returns for the Holidays
Open Call Audition for Dancers
It's time to get Canada's groove on!
The Nation's Music Station is looking for the hottest dancers around to shake what their momma gave 'em for a special holiday edition of Electric Circus.
Got eye-poppin' dancing moves? Sexy style? Then Much wants to see you groove.
Auditions take place at MuchMusic headquarters (299 Queen St. W) from 1pm - 4pm on Saturday, November 25th.
The Electric Circus holiday special airs December 30th @ 9pm on MuchMusic.
what ultimately killed that show is that they went from being a dance music show to a hip hop and top 40 show. That and the horrible hosts they had near the end.
Monica Da' hole FTW!

Well, Muchmusic in general went towards that trend... I guess it didn't make sense to have an electronica show on a hip hip/rap music channel.
(Though general public disinterest + bad EDM publicity didn't help I guess)
I'd die for a quality EDM shows on Muchmusic. (BMPtv doesn't count)
EC actually had house djs, and even Blank and Jones one time. It WAS better with Monica Deol as host...wickedness.

Hey, I'm new to this thing and my friend told me about this audition, but I was wondering wot kind of dance they're looking for?
Is this a routined dance or is it just club dancing?
Oh, and umm... this might be embarassing to ask, but is booty-shaking allowed? *rolls eyes*
Thanks!

Basically, if you got good moves on the dance floor (not necessarily a professional dancer or specializing in some dance style), you're welcome to audition.
But best to answer that would be someone at MuchMusic.
