Well, the point was to list good games
In all seriousness though, once Killer Instinct came out, Street Fighter on SNES was made obsolete. 42-hit Ultra Combos > Ryu pwnage
DjAsh, I can't believe you just listed Mortal Kombat titles... Those were NOT good games, ever. They were just popular because MK was the first console game to have blood. Did you play DKC 3 first out of the series? It's really weird to me that you enjoyed it so much, when most people like DKC 2 the most out of the series, while DKC gets credit for starting a good thing.
Micheal Jordan and the Windy City... that WAS a fun game A few other good games most people would probably not give a second glance if they saw them on a shelf are Aladdin and The Lion King.

Bullshit.
Those forces combine to create a soaking, boiling mudstorm on Valentine's Day.

The control still wastn as crisp, refined and smooth as Street Fighter though! Ill give you that its the 2nd best fighter game made though. The ONLY other one I wasted my time with other than SF2.

+1 No kidding, I never liked the MK ones... control was sooooooo sloppy and unrefined IMO.

Combos win every time. This argument is moot anyway since Super Smash Bros (and Melee) puts any fighter, past or present, to shame.

Agreed, and 15 Sub-Zero/Scorpion clones later... it's still a peice of garbage.

Honestly, i played Donkey Kong Countries in order 1,2,3. Secrets on map it was very cool, so many different levels, finished it on 103%. Mortal Kombat i listed only 1 & 2 which were really my favorite fightings for many years. We can speak with my friend about it for a months. Some new secrets and other stuff. 3 and + i didn't like, clones of ninjas with different colors, not interesting stages, brutality (copied from KI ultimas). Street Fighter i never liked, that game was too slooooow. Hate it.
I was such a big video games maniac, played near 10 hours per day, but never missed a chance to walk on the street! I like playing too much. But with Playstation my wish to play began to slow down till now.
I don't know how in US or other countries, but in Ukraine MK series were too popular to didn't mention in best games list. I remember first game i saw on Sega Mega Drive was Mortal Kombat 1. I just stood with open mouth, then a few more games like Stargate, Road Rash 2, Earth Worm Jim and i couldn't sleep without thinking about how to buy that Sega console.
