It's something (some) people here need to constantly tell themselves in order to obfuscate logically consistent rational arguments and dismiss legitimate criticism. It's a defense mechanism to prevent their world view from falling apart; a house of cards. Some people just refuse to connect the dots, they can't handle it.

Cyrus King is actually one of the few people on this board that I almost always agree with and like.

He is not an anti-Semite at all, rather he is against certain militant policies of Israel, which is not the same thing. In addition, how many of you know that he's actually opposed to Islam? That's right, he's against all organized religion, including Islam, and he supports ethnic rights.

Let's leave aside all goddamn religion (pun intended) and focus on ethnic issues that people face.

That's his approach to politics, but many of you have been blinded by the explosion of religious rhetoric in recent years around the world, and that's why you don't get anything he says. That is your problem by the way, not his.

P.S. One more thing - the recent PD posts I've enjoyed most were Cyrus King's, including the videos and interviews he posted e.g. Rumsfeld confrontation. Also, if you haven't seen his Ibiza documentary, you owe it to yourself to see it.

P.S.S: Let me take this chance to also say that PD is slowly disintegrating into COR, sadly. We have trolls like "metalgearsolid" and Marc Summers who mostly just make fools of themselves and there's been no interesting political comment lately. If we had more thoughtful, on-topic posters like Cyrus King, this would be a better place.

perhaps, but i think a lot of people do try. we all degenerate into a bit of shit-slinging occasionally (you more often than most too! ) but i still think it is far from the COR.

When was the last time you posted something constructive or on-topic?

I see a lot of sarcasm and understatement in your posts, not a lot of on-topic substance.

Exactly. They dont look at the core of my arguments, instead, they take what they dont WANT to believe, twist it around and generalize my viewpoints by calling me an anti-semite and that i hate the WHOLE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA.

LazFX is the first to fall victim of this sad reality, when he cant think or is proven wrong hell start labelling me as a terrorist. I find it quite funny and predictable - unsurprising coming from the likes of him actually

Thanks for helping to clarify my stance.

Many people misinterpret my distaste for all organized religion as something that is extreme, so they need to label as an extremist muslim for some unknown reason beucase i hate the government of Israel.

I am exactly what you say i am.. i look at things from the point of ETHICS, and not what the conventional mindset is taught indirectly or directly through their school, social gorups or media. I dont care WHO the person is or what their religion is or their ethnicity or colour of hair or eyes,, i look at intent and the ACTIONS that are taken to fufill their goals, whether its good or bad.

LazFX and other simpletons cant comprehend this, instead, they attack the person and not the argument. IE, the Hezbollah example. LazFX was basically trying to tell me that i wasnt an atheist becuase i supported their actions in fighting the israeli invaders. He correlates the whole agenda of hezbollah to me agreeing with them becuase he doesnt want to beleive that there are people out there that can PICK AND CHOOSE what actions they agree with and dont agree with.

He probably thinks that i advocate suicide bombing... agian.. very predictable
