I don't think you'll get it since I've declined to use the verbs "sick" "tight" etc. Don't worry your little brain with it.

lovely. Perhaps I should explain it, but since you didn't get it first time, I doubt you'll see the funny now. It's called the America-Sarcasm divide, where only a small percentage of the country gets the humour as it's intended, and the other half get uptight, start chanting USA & jibbering about saving us in some sort of war they wouldn't do anything in until they themselves were attacked...
ok. so meneegit queried why we didn't all like the music because he did, so that made it good. I retorted with the line you questioned with because some of us aren't that easily pleased? Because people are different? Because america haven't passed a law making sure we listen to what they say else they'll send us to guantanamo bay?
Now to the normal eye, that's just a simple line, nobody else seemed to not get it. It does to the fact that the country who is out to "liberate" Iraq (nb. it's not said "eye-rack") actually censors & controls what it's own people can watch for example, with the fcc, then there was the 'rave act' to stop people enjoying themselves, and many more. Therefore going by those standards, perhaps a country with a big army, maybe china, would see it ok as to invade & liberate America, removing the harsh dictator (Mr Bush) and allowing mob rule on the streets and free the american people to see, hear & fart however the hell they want, but I digress, because you see, If people don't do what America says, they often (if they've not already shot them first, ie. Rednecks playing army in the desert) will send them to Guantanamo bay, cuba, where they are subjected to a healthy climate, torture, no human rights etc, but again this is digressing.
To sum up in a manner you may get.
Meneedit wanted us to like it cos its "good"
we retained the right to not like it on accounts that we have better taste & freedom of speech to say it sucks.
Redneck idiocy entered the thread (this being yourself) and when he didn't get/like what he saw, lowered himself to a typical "asshole" retort.
I hope this has been helpful, if you struggle anymore, I'm sure that myself, mikey, mr mystery etc can work out some way using finger puppets of barney the dinosaur, zap brannigan & gw bush can explain it even slower, but that would be getting so slow that the space/time continuum (sp) has broken down.

exactly another reason why I spoke how I did. I have plenty of american friends, both on ta, other forums & they know I just like to have a laugh & mess around, and occasionally that will be at the expense of other americans who don't "get" a joke (often missing it totally) and sometimes the jokes will be with them. I'm beyond people who judge on nationality, the fact I've got a lot of friends from all corners of the globe proves this, there's just times when even the best of us has to resort to something below us for kicks.
