A lot of ppl bad mouth oakie when they hear his name mentioned. Yes ppl in Toronto "fukn ******s" sing to rapture. Oh well. But Oakie was one of the 6 who got me into the music. Along with wink, hawtin, and Pvd's humate remix, and tong. Oakie, Tong, Danny rampling, and jerry clockwork and two other big name dj's went to the white isle back in '87. They weren't the first as everyone knows but they were the first british ppl to go to ibiza and bring back the music to the uk. They promoted it and made it big through out the world. Then everyone and there ma went back wth them in 88. Called the summer of love and some say the last best year in ibiza. Just some history i learned a long time ago i would like to share.

Ya oakenfold has done so much for the industry. Acid House.. Goa.. Trance.. hes pretty much brought trance mainstreme in US.. I dont know about recently though. Comming to gigs drunk.. leaving early. Its too bad really.

I've been getting into this huge debate at work. My boss (in a perfect world) would like me to go to Edmonton for this conference on June 8-10.
Well guess what? Not on GP weekend, especially not when Bond and Guy will be in town and who the hell knows for the 7th. The discussion may have to get heated. Any other weekend would be fine.
