it probably doesnt happen as frequently as house music (since house is based on sampling the old) but your point is not valid. There are alot of 2005 2006 remixes these days of classic tracks.

i would have no problem with classics being remix IF (and that's a big if btw) they brought something new & exciting to the table and is well excecuted, which sadly, most of the updated remixes doesn't bring anything new other than the producers sounds & sounds terribly executed.
