Ah scatterbrain that sucks. What would put me in a really pissy mood on NYE.

But yeah as people have been saying pickpockets and stuff aren't normally much of a problem. I try to wear pants with a button in the back so I can button up my ID and credit card and I keep my cash in my front pocket. Which somehow always seems to disappear by the end of the night .

But if your coming into LA, like all cities there are some places to avoid. Downtown isn't realy as bad as some people tend to claim, especially around where Giant is going to be. But if you go too far east of the event you can find yourself in some shaady areas. If your looking to score some crack tho you'll find your self in the right place.

yeah areas in london that are known as bad towns and ones to avoid, arent as bad as they are made out to be, but some areas are, from what i have read i suppose it is similar in some respects.... except is seem everyone can carry a gun in US and the guys who carry guns over here "think" there big time gangsters!!

Funny topic. I've never had a problem with this sort of thing in the US but encountered it once at a festival in London (GC SSS). Didn't have a problem with it in Ibiza either.
