Luke Fair will create one of the best Balance's ever I think.

I have had the privledge of seeing him many a time here in Montreal, he has a knack for being a brilliant opening DJ, which allows the headliner to do his thing... But he also tends to like to come back on and totally pwn the peak time DJ.

Luke Fair is my hero!

Luke is definitely funkier and he also plays more deep house, and i actually haven't heard a Desyn set in a while so it's hard to say. trying to place either of them in a specific genre or sub-genre is very tough because they both play a pretty diverse blend of deep/tech/progressive/electro/funky house. they also incorporate a very retro and classic vibe into their sets. a lot of tracks that both of them play remind me of dance tunes from the 80's and 90's. even though they play similar styles of house, they each have a very specific personal style that they stick to, which makes them sound pretty fresh and different from each other. when you're listening to a Luke set, you know it's Luke... and when you're listening to a Desyn set, you know it's Desyn.

whatever... i'm still a silly fangirl. i 'em both!

I wish someone would bring Desyn or Luke to central Texas. Preferrably Desyn, but Luke is great too. I'd settle for JVM.

i can't wait to see what Luke's tour schedule looks like once Balance 011 sees a release... i only saw him once last year (at WMC) and it was not nearly enough.
