LOL, if you've got more of those briljant questions, just throw them in here and we'll answer them again.

But I'll answer a couple for you already:

"Do we walk on wooden shoes" ===>> NO

"Do we have Nike & McDonalds" ====>> YES!!!

Mybe it's also nice to know that Holland and The Netherlands are both english terms. The dutch word that we use to define our nation would be "Nederland".

In addition to the story Kamaya (i think it was him) wrote about Holland and The Netherlands I must say that us Dutchies use the term Holland when interacting with foreigners because it's easier to understand.

I'm quite impressed you already knew that Amsterdam wasn't the same as Holland/The Netherlands. I feel that a lot of American people think that Amsterdam is a country itself. And I find it REALLY annoying that they ALL ask you if you are from AMsterdam if you tell them you're from Holland!!!

If you want to have a foreigners point of view of our lovely country (lol) you can PM STeveTranz4Ever, because he visits our events every now and then....Spad, Coup and Volksjoolz have also been here, and some of the French TA's....some other Swedish Ta's (besides Steve)...will you be next?
