you cant go wrong with google... fortune's #1 place to work for. insane company perks, like free gourmet lunch/dinner, massage, laundry facilities and more... but yeah they are kinda making you stay there instead of going home. good if you're single.
very impressive that you got a job there... i've applied a few times and got rejected everytime

Ya seriously.
It is a contract position which scares me, but Im thinking of it as my foot in the door right now... Ill be a Project Manager or something and the salary is right around what i want, close to about 100k.
I dont have it yet oran9e, im competing with 2 others, but it looks promising my agent says.
But ya from what I hear its pretty plush.
So if I dont end up getting it, maybe one of you guys know a spot where they might need me at!
I hate where im at right now. Im starting to develop a twitch in my eye because people annoy the shit outta me here. By the end of the week im all burned out because of all the ignorance here.

ive read some peoples experiences with interviewing and what not and you pretty much have to know someone or have some impressive resume for them to even consider you for an interview.

I work as a tech support rep for starwood hotels. Basically i am saving the hospitality industry, one starwood property at a time.
I love it cause i get rooms at the bonaventure all the time, and i got a room in miami for wmc on the beach at a five star resort for $69.00 per night.
I also get to pretty much make my own hours, as we are 24 hour support, so i can come in around 2pm or so if i want to sleep in for a week or a month.
my night job is fun, playing out and drinking at some of the best clubs in LA with some of the coolest people in LA
life is good....for now

I've never applied or try, actually got my first and current job from a friend but I always thought Google kidnapped/bought out all the best people from all the good companies

100K I am in the WRONG PROFESSION!!! I wish was computer Smart....
Anyways... I work with animals by day... and party like one at night. I am a Veterinary Technician (Animal Nurse). I have been working with Animals for all most 10 years.. solid for 5 though...
I love what I do! It is just where I work I am not to happy with. I work for Corporate America.. Where I came from Hospitals that where privatively own. I also work in an environment where there is a lot of stress b/w the people that work there. I can deal with the stress that the job has.. I just hate the drama at the work place!
I also started working 6 days a week and seem like I am still barely making it or I feel like I am working hard enough. *sigh*
At the end of this month will be my year working at this place so I am going to ask for a raise. I have also put my new resume out there to see what happens.
VCA( the company I work for) is looking for new Techs! I work in Burbank and we need a tech.. and the office in Pasadena needs techs too!

I'm the assistant manager for Baby Gap/Maternity incharge of operations in Burlingame. Currently I'm enjoying my job, but it has it's ups and downs. It's retail after all.
