anybody know anything else about this or use a similar set up to mine:

cubase sx
audiophile 2496 soundcard
jp 8000

the mono recording is starting to piss me off as when i record it into the midi its in stereo but as soon it gets recorded to audio its in mono.

Have you tried plugging another source into your 2496 to see if that records in stereo? That will help you to know if your problem lies in your soundcard or the JP.

my left turntable only records out one speaker which is weird though my right turntable and cdj800 are fine.
