I honestly believe that once man kind realizes that today's myths; Allah, Christ, Yahweh, Vishnu and the Flying Spagatti Monster are nothing by feeble minded men's reinvention of Greek and Roman Gods, then we as a race will progress into the next step of evolution. I mean come on,

Here's a big for you arrogant pricks out there. Seriously, some of you are just as bad as religious fundamentalists in that respect. Kinda ironic that you guys have more in common than you realize.

EDIT: I won't be able to make it this Friday btw.

lol @ Jay

Hold the war on terror-ble fashion, personal hygene and recruiting the cool people for a second. The porkchop is defrosted in the microwave and I need to get started on the salad while I'm incinerating it.

Bless you jews and muslims for leaving us this daily ham at affordable market demands and low, low prices.
Amen

And you win the award for "Best at Twisting Words Around"

Let's break it down barney style for you:

Immigrants who come over have many more oppourtunities
here. Some choose to serve the country that has given
them the chance to do great things with their lives.
Be it becoming a nurse, cop, or soldier, it's an honorable
and great thing. We need more of these kinds of immigrants.
And of course I'm talking about the legal kind.

That's what I said and normal people would infer from my
post. Not "To help immigrants succeed in life we're shipping
them to the front lines in Iraq"...

Didn't you say that the army was meeting its requirements ok earlier? Man you're such a hypocrite, seriously you talk out of your ass and say anything to keep your pro-army bullshit going. I guess we should expect that from a marine, it seems to take away your ability to reason after all.

How does what you quoted from me have anything to do with
army recruiting goals and justify personally attacking
me and calling me names?

Is the army meeting it's recruitement goals? Yes.
Is it bad to recruit from good honest immigrants? No.

You can try to insult me and my title all you want
but it shows how weak you people are. All you resort
to when someone expresses an opinion you don't like
is name calling without discussing like adults the
issue at hand.

Hehe, i must say that diatribe about name calling was mildly amusing. I dislike marines, i'll admit to it.

Anyways, my point was that the even if the army is 'meeting it's recruitment goals', the fact that they have to resort to immigrants of all people (we already know that most people in the army are of low income families) shows the weak support the army has from the American populace. In as much as recruiting immigrants shows this weakness you are being a hypocrite in saying that the army meeting it's recruitment goals somehow affirms the necessity for having an army this active around the world and that this is somehow positive. What you think that affirming one thing is unrelated to affirming others? You can't say that the army is a good thing, and that it's doing good when the rest of your country is not even willing to join in and participate.
