Which obviously shows you didn't think once when posting this about me. You're attempting to illustrate me as someone who doesn't take much into consideration when posting but yet you sit there and continously shoot swear words at me and call people fags. Street Fighter is just a game, agreed. But it's an entirely different atmosphere when said game is being played at a highly skilled, competetive level, probably with some ammount of money on the line. The audience is made up of, primarily, other tournament participants and their friends, so they have a good understanding of what's happening in the fight, in addition to their favourite to win the match. When you participate in the tournament and care about who wins, when you know how insanely difficult it is to pull off that many back to back individual parries, and when you know that Ken was one weak-punch away from death... That's a fucking exciting finish, and damn straight they're going to get excited and cheer for it.

As for the user comments on the website, not 'every single one' labels the crowd losers. And those who do call them losers are people just like you, who don't understand the setting, and feel superior because they're mild, casual gamers who have OTHER unproductive things they enjoy doing with their time.

The fact is, there are people out there that take the game seriously enough to compete in tournaments, and those people witnessed an amazing match, with an amazing finish that will probably never happen in a tournament final ever again. The crowd had every reason, and every right to get excited.
