Intervention. If the all-knowing God is non-interventionist then the fact that it knows all is inmaterial to what befalls you.

I do not believe in fate. But I do believe in Karma. If you have done bad things in life, then your life will be controlled by unfortunate events. You have to pay. God need not be involved in this process at all. How you live your life now, will determine the quality of your future life. So why are people born blind or disabled ? The easy way out for some religions is to say that karma from past life carries over. Whether you believe in life after death is up to your personal belief, because you can neither prove or disprove it.

I'm not so sure it's intervention, because although the God i described could intervene, it also would have created the universe, so it wouldn't need to. In my opinion fate can only to the product of some concious design anyway

To think that you control your life to a substantial degree is laughable. We are microbes in an infinite ocean. The belief that we are in control of anything is the weak minded point of view. We're terrified of the thought that "something" is controlling us.

I'm not saying that some external being is writing the script for your life either. The being that would have created something as magnificent and complex as the universe wouldn't be bothered with the petty little details of your life.

We don't have the tools to understand the answer to this question if it were available anyway, so we pick a belief that feels right to us. I choose to believe that absolutely every minute detail of my life is unchangable by me. Every fart and revelation is inevitable. Nothing is in my control.

Choosing to frame life that way makes me like someone watching a movie. The movie is life from my perspective, and I'm free to enjoy it as an observer without the specter of responsibility.

Free will is a trap designed to make you feel resposible for the worlds ills.

Free will is a lie.
