Their specialty drinks are great, but their coffee tastes burnt.

A tip I learned from the local "barista" ( ) is that if you want a reg coffeee, you should ask for the mild blend because it actually contains MORE caffeine but has a milder taste, and thus tastes less burnt.

Moroccans produces an oil, Argan Oil, from a similar method- fruit grown on a tree, goats climb up the tree, eat the fruit, poop out the pits, and then locals sift them out & press them for the oil. Of course, modern manufacturing plants have eliminated the goat factor, but there are plenty of local villagers who probably still harvest it the old fashioned way.

edit: according to wikipedia, argan oil that's been made by this 'digestive manner' apparently is far inferior to the manufactured oil. Obviously there are less fortunate people that are still going to use this method, but for the most part it probably just makes for a good story to tell tourists.
