I think most people have to realise that most tunes in this contest are pretty 'decent' (and this doesn't mean I like all the tracks included). I can easily name 15 - 30 tunes that have been pretty popular this year but that are even more disliked by most people who are complaining now about the trackselection, ... this selection could've been much worse. But still, it remains a case of taste.

I have the impression a lot of people who are complaining now, have evolved from trance to other genres because the current trance doesn't interest them any more. Those people have to realise that this still is a trance forum, and thus that most tracks selected will be trance.
