I grew up in Dundas (population 23,000) and played baseball growing up. I took a look at the rosters one year to see what team I was on, and noticed Jeff Button listed twice. I asked the guy who was handling the league why I was put on two teams. He then told me there was ANOTHER Jeff Button (2 years older).
I meet the guy, he looks like me - except he had long hair and was one of the 'druggy' kids. Never really liked the guy, he was a bit messed in the head - and kind of scary.
Three years later, I get a knock on the door - it's a cop. He asks if Jeff Button is home (keep in mind i'm 15 at the time). Turns out he was looking for the other Jeff Button, who was wanted on four counts of drug related charges, and BnE....
Last I heard, he had gone mental. |
