So I had two firsts on Saturday night; it was my first time to Sonic and my first night out with all the TAs.
Sonic was a lot nicer than I thought it would be but I think I will keep spending my saturday nights out at the Guv, I just really love that place.
But what really made my night was the people. It was nice meeting so many of you, everyone was very welcoming. Frank thanks for "being my husband" and waiting around for me all night. Graham it was great to finally meet you and thanks for getting my night going and dragging my ass out to the dance floor. RJ thanks for the tour, Margaret, Shelley, Dan, Peter and everyone else thanks for hanging out with me. Justin, Shanny and Tyler it was nice seeing you guys again. Hopefully I will see everyone again soon.

A great night of music for sure. I arrived shortly before 3am and Copeland was droppin' some fun tunes, really perfect for that time of night. Caught only the first 2 hours of Lexicon Avenue's set, but they did a great job of keeping the tempo chugging along...and yes, Lucky Heather was indeed an explosion of sorts. Sounded so damn good on that sound system!

Nice to see many familiar faces, all top notch party people

Those funky hard poundin tracks were perfect and I forgot all about the trance I had been listening to earlier. Good to see the people I did and havent seen in quite awhile. Loved poppin my Sonic cherry and will be back soon. Happy B day again Josh. Sorry to all that we had to leave so early and I didnt get to meet more of you.

so for any one who met us you know that "heavenisblue" is actually sort of two people...tanya, who already posted a review, and myself! usually just one of us would post to avoid awkwardness such as this, but I just had to say a couple of things.

first of all, I felt really bad to have to leave Josh's party after about 10 minutes, but I had to go to work. when I got home from work I was so tired and in pain (it was really busy even for a saturday night) so I wasn't sure if I even wanted to go to sonic, but I am SO glad I did!

I got there at about 4am, and everyone was super nice even though most people were just meeting me then, the music was awesome especially from 5:30-6:30 in my opinion, and it was just a good time all around. I ended up staying until about 8am, which was a surprise because I really didn't think I'd stay much longer then an hour. so thanks to everyone for making it a great night!

Danya

My first time being to Sonic (I know, it was a long time coming), and WOW what a change from Boa! Loved everything about it. The loungey feel of the back area, the hardwood floors (mmm nice and easy on the knees - I'm willing to trade my gum at the door for that!), the sound was really good, and the crowd/vibe were great too.

Brad Copeland, still holds as one of my fave house djs - a great opener...Lexicon Avenue wasn't what I was expecting. A little too minimal for me, but still enjoyable.

You know you party with great people when you have an awesome time even though the music wasn't your style. As always, really good to see everyone again!

Hangin out with Jay and Dan in the back lounge = hilarity. "Holy shit, didn't that just sound like Mario went down the pipe again?" lol. Awesome. Can't wait to get out to Sonic again

First time back to Sonic since May. Had an awesome time, so many TA's out (I think we made up a good portion of the occupancy), so good to see some faces I dont see too often.

Brad played an awesome set, kept us moving with upbeat tunes. Graham's "Oi f*ckin Oi" really got his attention- so much so he took him into the booth with him.

Lexicon Ave- first time seeing them, didnt disappoint. Tune of the night had to be that Depeche Mode "Little 15" remix- got slightly depressed when I realized that song came out 20 YRS AGO (when I was 16). Jesus, where does the time go???

Only stopped dancing when the beats got a little too tribal for my liking, but it gave me opportunity to chat w/friends.

Surprized that no one has yet mentioned the bombs that Graham was dropping on the dance floor! Way to clear a room..... Best strategy was to stay far away from him. Pee-yew!
