i have several friends who love to fuck around and be ghetto when we're out..just joking around, but they came from serious ghetto lives and now they have their shit together. they dress really nice (as opposed to like a thug), but you can tell when they talk, they still have that street in them, but they're educated and funny and artistic...you just never know until you spend some time with people.

i think most stereotypes are true for the most part, but like i said...just get to know someone and you might be pleasantly surprised.

here's the bitch part - this was while i was in college. and my roommate was dating the other chick. so i'm talking to her and i'm like you should bring up a friend (right!). anyway she's like ohh i got a really nice friend, here talk to her on the phone. so - i had to spend the whole weekend with this bitch in my apartment. i was drunk 24/7 and when i started getting sober i'd just run to the fridge. so it comes down to "gametime" on sat night and i'm sitting there just shit-drunk, my roommate looks at me while she's pulling me into the bedroom hands me a doubleshot glass full of vodka and says "you'll need this". i take it like a champ, they leave the next morning and wake up with a thong at the foot of my bed big enough for me to wear. i walk out, he's watching TV, i go "we will never speak of this again".

I do stereotype, but fortunately I don't let that get in the way of judging who a person is and what they are about. although my first impression may influence my willingness to approach someone.

I never really stereotype but if someone comes off as a pretentious arrogant selfish whatever assholish type of person I will assume they are and then proceed to tell them to bugger off.


Today I came up with an idea in regards to beggars of foreign origin.

What do you guys think of printing up these little notes that say : " Stop reinforcing the stereotypes society has about you " and giving these out whenever these people try to bum some cigs or cash off of me ...
